NOX ARTS N CRAFTS
My little crafts project and online shop
NOX Arts N Crafts is my hands-on-get-my-hands-dirty crafts project.
Furniture make-overs, decoupage and painting wood, and also making jewelry are the areas I have more fun working with.
Here are the links to go and check it out... And, if you like what I do, don't forget to support my work through my Etsy shop!

BUILDING HUTS ON THE ISLE OF SKYE
Scotland
In June 2014 all the Skyewalkers set out on a do-it-yourself adventure in the hostel garden.
We built and transformed wooden barbecue huts into two bedrooms outside and the end result is just fabulous.
Of course (Jabba) the huts ended up with cool Star Wars names... R2 and D2. :)
It was a couple of weeks of hands on work, sweat and midges, without a single drop of rain which ultimately meant that we we're in fact very lucky with the weather. Skye gods we're smiling upon us for sure! The force is strong.
Filmed entirely with a Gopro 3 BE.
Music: "Scotland the Brave" by Shake That Little Foot (freemusicarchive.org/music/Shake_That_Little_Foot/Shake_That_Little_Foot/Scotland_the_Brave_vbrmp3)

18 DAYS IN HOLLAND
|
In October 2014 I travelled across Europe with my car, it was a 4 week adventure road tripping alone. After leaving Scotland, I found myself on a ferry-boat heading towards the Netherlands for the first time. And I had a plan.
I was going to stay for a couple of weeks in a place called Wervershoof helping out the owners of a bed and breakfast named Heavenly Village in exchange for a place to stay.
So I set up my Dutch exploration base camp 50 minutes north of Amsterdam and ended up staying there for 18 days.
Quickly I came to realise that Mike and Karin are wonderful hosts and that they have created a very quirky and special place up there.
Camera: Gopro 3 Black Edition

LIFE AT SKYEWALKER
Scotland
LIFE AT SKYEWALKER
A travel film about my work and stay at Skyewalker Hostel.
Shot on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, between June and September 2013.
Produced and directed by me, all music was recorded during impromptu sessions at the hostel and performed by the owners and guests, except for the bagpipes bit which was recorded in Portree on the street during a rehearsal of a local bagpipes school band (sorry I can't remember your bands name, but you guys are awesome!!).
It was a fantastic experience living on Skye, met a lot of wonderful people from all over the world, made friends, explored and laughed a lot. This is my perspective.
I'd like to give a warm and heartfelt thank you to everybody who contributed to this film in one way or another.
May the force be with you!

BEMPOSTA
Portugal
Shot in Trás-os-Montes, Portugal, with friends during a summer weekend in August 2012. The camera used was a Gopro 2 and I used only After Effects in post-production.
The music is by Joe Bonamassa "Ball Peen Hammer", I don't own copyrights over the song, used under the fair use policy for a personal video.
